HRsmart Announces Next Generation Collaboration Tools within its Talent Management Suite

Focuses on Greater Organizational Transparency and Collective Intelligence

RICHARDSON, Texas -- HRsmart, the only HR software company with the fully integrated talent management suite on one flexible technology platform, today at the SHRM 2008 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Chicago unveiled new collaboration and efficiency tools within its Talent Management Suite that improves usability and further increases open workforce planning. The added features provide users with vision into the entire life cycle of an employee - from recruiting, performance management, development and retention.

Key features in the modernized HRsmart Talent Management Suite include:

  • A user-configurable, real-time reporting dashboard redesigned to capitalize on the solution’s cross-module capabilities. Users can simply drag and drop widgets to set their desired layout, recruiters can make recruiting specific dashboards and managers can create multi-purpose dashboards.
  • GoalScape™, an innovative HRsmart software, ties employee performance to real world metrics that are supported and automatically updated in the system real-time.
  • HRsmart’s wiki-like and searchable job feedback tool allows employees to help others understand the unique challenges for current and future job holders. Previous or current job holders can leave comments about a job for others to review.
  • A more comprehensive succession domino report displays an enhanced profile of the successors including the employee’s picture, current manager, tenure at the company, tenure in the current position, most recent performance review score, current salary grade, availability date and comment, career paths, and all succession plans the employee is on with easy print for offline executive succession planning meetings.
  • Individual development plans unify development activities no matter what application or module they were created in and display all plan items, giving managers and employees a single view for easier follow up and control.
  • HR administrators and OnBoarding specialists can now create proprietary, ad-hoc onboarding documents and put them into pre-defined bundles for particular jobs or locations by state and/or country.
  • Recruiters and hiring managers can now look at internally developed talent pools or succession plans and convert successors to candidates, giving organizations a quick and easy way to look within and decrease costs while increasing readiness.
  • Users can now import their Facebook contacts as referrals and contacts for jobs.
  • Users can tie their personal goals with cascading goals within the Employee Performance Management module. Employees can travel the organization hierarchy to see how goals have been created and cascaded, request responsibility for the cascaded goal of another employee and include it in their appraisal with an automatic roll-up calculation of completion.
  • Project team members can engage each other and managers now have a single place to monitor progress of the teams with the deeper collaboration tools implemented within the Career Development and Succession Planning module. Employees can use the project team membership to fill their competency gaps and progress against career paths and succession plans. After the completion of a project team, managers can automatically create appropriate 360 degree feedback forms for all project team members.
  • Curricula by job family make it easy for companies to ensure that new or transferring employees are enrolled in the right coursework and developmental activities for their new job. Managers don’t have to monitor whether or not their employees are tracking against the right development plan.
